Omaha World Herald articles are archived online at the Pro-Quest newspaper database. A subscription (usually by an institution) is required, check to see if your local library provides access. The Lexis Nexis database for the World Herald is not recommended, as some articles are missing for no apparent reason, and the archive does not go back as far as Pro-Quest. Ads, photos, charts, and some Associated Press articles are not archived in any of the World Herald databases. These must be viewed either on microfilmed copies of the paper or purchased from the World Herald. In Nebraska, the main Omaha Public Library, UNO Omaha Library, and the Nebraska State Historical Society in Lincoln have microfilmed Omaha World Herald archives. Copies of pages as published may also be available for a fee directly from the Omaha World Herald.
Fremont Tribune articles are archived on microfilm at the Nebraska State Historical Society in Lincoln. (Online archive only goes back to 1999.)
Catholic Voice articles are archived on microfilm at the main Omaha Public Library and the Nebraska State Historical Society in Lincoln. (Online archive only goes back to approx. 2004.)
